Our First Event!

So, one day I bought a hearse. I bought it shortly before the store actually opened, but when you have a chance to buy a hearse, you buy a hearse. This photo was taken before the hearse was more personalized (decals and a monstrous lift kit), if I can find more pics I will post them in a later blog.

Parking issues aside, and wow was that a learning curve, I absolutely adored this behemoth of a vehicle. Camper? Yep. Cargo? Bring it on. Attention? Oh boy!

I only had the hearse for a short time, but I’ll never forget it. Life happened and I had to let it go, but this car will always hold a very special place in my heart. If I had somewhere to park one, I’d definitely have another. To all of my friends out there that own hearses right now, feel free to post pics in the comments! I’d love to see pics of your beautiful babies posted on this thread! If you remember our hearse, let us know. Good memories!

The second picture is the first event we ever attended, the Duck Races by the Snake River. I'm guessing it was 2001. You can see the hearse in the background, and love or hate it, it was probably the biggest attention getter at the event aside from the actual ducks.

That's me in the picture with my niece who is looking age appropriately mortified at her ridiculous aunt. It's interesting to see the items on the table from vendors that no longer exist, but we're still here!

As I said, these photos were taken shortly before we opened at our first location. Stay tuned, our next installment will take a peek into the history of building that housed the weird little store that would form shortly after.
